Cherry 5x8 Convertible Teardrop Trailer

Cherry and Cedar Convertible Teardrop Camper

This version of our convertible teardrop camper is crafted out of cherry cabinet grade plywood and solid cedar framing and trim. Cherry is a beautiful wood to work with and the rich grain and color really makes this a spectacular looking teardrop.

The 4x8 version of this camper allows enough room for a full size futon inside. We can build the campers with an optional folding bunk/shelf that will sleep a child, small adult or a pet. The bunk can be folded back when not in use to provide extra room for playing a game of cards or a favorite board game. The lower galley area provides space for camping gear even with an optional A/C unit installed.

I can build a teardrop out of other types of wood other than Oak, Cherry, or Mahogany. Birch, Maple, Walnut, Alder, or Hickory are some of the wood types we can use in the crafting of a teardrop camper.
